Getting on a Jet Plane

I’m writing from my window seat on the train on my way up to Washington, DC. Tomorrow I’ll fly from there to Cairo, and then on to my home city.

It’s been so great to reconnect with faithful friends and get to know new people during these last few months. I’m cherishing your encouragement, prayers, and words of wisdom through an incredibly challenging season. God is good!

This week I’m requesting your prayers that God would go ahead of me as I travel, and for Him to open hearts and minds — including my own — to His love. I need to grow in patience and endurance.

Please stay in touch! Even a quick note would mean a lot. And I would love to know how I can be praying for you as I travel this week. God bless you!!
